A small group of wood carvers meet weekly in an informal
gathering for carving Christmas ornaments, small birds,
and other simple projects. Two PLV residents, both
experienced wood carvers, assist interested carvers
during this time. PLV owns, or makes available a
limited amount of tools such as a band saw, scroll saw,
drill press, belt sanders, two dremel power carving
tools, and a large lathe. Carvers and women crafters
have ideas for building a permanent building which will
be open every day.
